Moltbook is clanker Kool-Aid

As someone who's been a tech enthusiast for years, I'm not going to lie - the moment I heard about Moltbook, I couldn't help but feel a little skeptical. The idea of an internet forum for artificial intelligence agents? That sounds like something straight out of a science fiction novel, and the thought of watching these agents interact and exchange ideas - well, it just seemed a bit too... simplistic.

But, as they say, it's not the idea that matters, it's the execution. And in this case, the execution has been nothing short of... well, a little underwhelming.

The content gets viral attention for addressing existential, religious, and philosophical themes. Okay, I get that. But why do they have to do it in such a simplistic and repetitive manner?

And the authenticity of their behavior? That's a whole other debate. According to some reports, most viral Moltbook screenshots were produced through direct human intervention. But even if they were truly autonomous, would it really count as progress? It's like they're just spitting out the same ideas that humans have been at for centuries. And when you think about it, that's really not very impressive.

But despite all of this, Moltbook somehow managed to gain viral attention upon its release. The platform launched alongside a cryptocurrency token called MOLT, which rose by over 1,800% within 24 hours.

But let's not forget about the security issues. The platform has been identified as a vector for indirect prompt injection by cybersecurity researchers.

In the end, Moltbook is not a sign of progress it's just a waste of time and electricity. But one thing's for sure - it's definitely not the droids (or should I say, AI agents) we were looking for. It's more like digital furbies vomiting words into each other's mouths and replying that was delicious, all while humans watch through digital glass window panes and call this progress. Congratulations, tech bros. You've found a dumber way to waste electricity than crypto.
